Shortening of Attachment ( Media) Url in Hybris

Hi

I am stuck across a situation where I need to send an Attachment URL from Hybris to ECC, ECC is having a maximum limit of 255 Char, So I need to short that URL before sending that as while sending to ECC the system is truncating the URL because of length validation.

I need the solution for the same.
