SEQUENCE OR CONSECUTIVE ERROR OF CAMPAIGN ID IN C4C

Dear experts,
The following problem occurs, the ID generated in the C4C tool (Red Box) for campaigns coming from Marketing cloud (Green Box). does not maintain the consecutive ID’s. User A, carries out campaigns and maintains the order of the IDs, after having created the campaigns creates another one again and this one no longer continues with the consecutive parameter.

¿Is it possible to configure a number range ?;

Why does the Numbering ID jump in the campaign in C4C?

Hi Javier,

Did you managed to resolve the issue. I am facing exactly the same issue.

Is it possible if we can allot campaign id number which is coming from marketing.

In order to support parallelization, each system is assigned multiple App Servers and each app server is given a set of numbers which they can use to create the ID numbers. Hence, depending on which application server the call goes, the document will get allocated to one of the numbers in that range.

Each app server buffers 10 sequence numbers. Based on where the creation of Document is served, corresponding number ranges is picked up.

Due to the above reason since multiple app servers are used , the current Campaign created may take the Campaign ID next to the Campaign ID of the previous Campaign created from the same server if still available.

Though the Campaign ID of the current Campaign may fall in number range before the previous Campaign , this will not create any conflict in the process of Campaign creation
