Hello Experts,

Below is the scenario -

1) 1 KMAT material and class 300 ( Class name - CL_FRY) assign to it

2) Under KMAT, I have 2 SFG and also assigned CL_FRY to these SFG and and entered specific values in class 300 against corresponding Items

3) Created BOM for KMAT and components added. Added dependencies against components and also in added class 300 at Item level of component. But tick for selection condition is missing

How to make this field editable

Regards,

Saurabh

When you add selection condition for the component item, you can find the OD information in the screenshot as below.

Double click Cloumn OD.

And you will find the selection condition you maintained before.

Just use this method, which can achieve the components selection.

And check the Item detail, the related filed is blank.

For the KMAT material, in basic 2 view, material is configurable is indicated, so that the Colmn OD in BOM is available.

Hi Saurabh,

I am not sure which version you are working if it is S4 HANA, then please refer below S NOTE # 2267873.

As per note "Classificaiton as Selection Condition" no more supported into S4 HANA.

  • Class nodes should be used in Material BOM items instead of "Classification as selection condition". It's recommended to make this substitution also in existing material BOMs.
