SAP Marketing Cloud - Usage of BAdI: Create and Update Permissions for Additional Marketing Areas

Dear colleagues,

within Marketing Cloud we use the BAdI "Create and Update Permissions for Additional Marketing Areas " which is unfortunately deprecated.

Usecase is that Permission can be generated for example through Form with a local Marketing Area but the Persmission should be stored and centralized/global one.

Is there any other way to achieve this as we don't know how long this BAdI will be available?

Additional question:

We would prefer to create also the Communication Categories / Subscriptions only for the Marketing Area. But this way it cannot be used in local campaigns. Is there any way to achieve this?

Sorry Aaron for the delay.

There is nothing else to support the use case. The only way is to upload the permissions for the contact for the different "levels" and execute campaign a the level you required.

The BAdI was deprecated because it was not supporting come of the use cases and it became quite complex. It was creating some inconsistencies in some situations.

As SMC is end of life, we didn't pursue improvement in this direction.
