SAP COMMERCE 2005: CMS Links created in SmartEdit do not open in external window even when toggled.

Hello everyone!

As above. I'm trying to create CMSLinks in smartedit that open in external windows. I toggled the External Window switch to on, and hit save. The link opens in the same tab.

Has anyone else run into this same problem? Any solutions?

Hi Diktakis,

I tried to reproduce it in my 2005 environment but it works fine. The link could be opened in a new tab. Are you working with any custom code? If not , I would suggest you provide some more details to reproduce it in OOTB landscape.

Further, in case this is an issue from SAP Commerce customer, please create a ticket via SAP support channel. And thus SAP can support you formally there.
