SAP CCO Unicode characters saved as question marks

Hello,

When using MS SQL database for CCO Manager all unicode characters are saved as "???" in database.

I checked schema design and all text columns are varchar type but in hana schema text columns are nvarchar.

I posted about this 6 years ago but still this problem is there or I don't know how to fix it.

Regards

Dear latsabidzeb,

An update of CCO manager to a more recent feature pack might solve it. What is the current version of your CCO manager?

Best regards,

Gunther

Hello latsabidzeb,

Can you provide a couple of examples of affected tables / columns using screenshots from HANA studio?

Kind regards,

Gunther

Hello Beka,

Did you check the collation of the database? As standard and as described in the official documentation it should be entered as SQL_Latin1_General_CP1_CI_AS.

Hope this helps!

Kind regards,

Hello Kellieanne,

Yes, I did that but that does not solve the problem.

I think problem is varchar data types in tables instead of nvarchar.
