SAP C4C SD BOM

Hi,

We want to use the BOM structure in sales orders and sales quotes. However, we want to see the product details and prices when using the BOM structure. Are there any documents you can share with us on this subject?

Our customer will use the BOM structure in their orders in SD. C4C also wants the products to appear in the BOM structure in the Sales processes. Since there is no BOM structure in C4C standard, what kind of solution can we offer to this? In case we get the product tree from ERP with web service, is there any problem when we make changes in these products? In this case, when we replicate the products we bought with the web service to SD, when it returns to the C4C side, does BOM run again and record twice?

The 1702 update says that in C4C, the BOM structure can be displayed on the C4C after the order documents have been replicated to SD. But can we display BOM without making SD replication in the sales quotes documents? Or can I view the BOM structure after replicating the sales quotes documents to SD?

Hello polatmakina,

You should be able to see the BOM structure after a successful external pricing call. You dont have to transfer the document to see the BOM structure and prices of individual materials.

I'm trying that BOM material (integrated with SAP ERP) works but when i simulate the integration not subitems return. When i create on SAP ERP a sales order whit the same customer, sales área, product and quantity the BOM works fine.

I activated trace on CPI, when SAP ERP request have not subitems.

Have you any idea what happend or have documentation about this scenario ?

Is there any documentation on the configuration for this to work? I have discussed this with our consulting partner, and they do not know how to make this work. We have checked code list mapping, sales quote item types, and sales quote follow-on items. We use the standard TAQ, TAE item categories in backend ECC. Is there anyone that knows the settings?
