Dear Experts, I'm sorry if my questions seem basic.
I have a few customer support questions I'd like to run by experts. Any help you can provide would be much appreciated.
- Can we set up rules or logic on specific fields, including custom fields, in Sales Cloud V2 to manage those business objects? Like, can we automatically block a Sales Order if a certain condition is met in one of its custom fields?
- We have a requirement to provide sales representatives with a consolidated view of both the forecasted sales quantity entered in Sales Cloud and the committed forecast received from SAP IBP. Is there a way to achieve this? Would API integration be feasible to connect Sales Cloud V2 with SAP IBP as depicted in red lines in the diagram below?
Is the Embedded SAC in Sales Cloud V2 able to use data from custom fields that we've created in Sales Cloud V2, or even from custom fields that we've brought in from other systems?
- Is there a built-in standard contract functionality within Sales Cloud V2? If not, is it on the roadmap? Currently, we understand that contracts are managed through S/4HANA Integration. Is this correct? If so, could you briefly explain the scope and methods of contract management within this integration?
