Hi all,
I have some issue with new service s/4hana.
In new S/4HANA service with Advanced Execution we have an Service Quotation (SQ) 4000000184.
SQ has a two main items.
SQ 4000000184:
10) execution item has reference to maintenance order 4000803
The next step, after the customer accepted the SQ, the system generate follow-up document - Service order
Until now everything is ok.
But when we want a requote SQ(4000000184), system creates a new SQ (4000000185), but wihout reference to maintenace order. So subitems are missing.
SQ 4000000185
Execetion order item - item. no. 10 doesn't have any reference to maintenance order.
Is this a normal state? Or do you have any workaround for that? Because price details doesn't work properly without subitems. The New SQ (4000000185) should have a reference to maintenance order 4000803.
Tested on S/4HANA 2023 FPS01.
Thanks you for your help.

Hi Abhishek,
I don't want to answer for Vojtech, but I also have a requirement for requoting in the context of advanced exection.
Scenario is as follows:
1. We quote to service or repair a customer item. As this involves a lot of work steps and components, we use the advanced execution scenario.
2. the customer accepts the quote and we start the work.
3. As we proceed with the work, we discover additional defects on the object that need to be addressed, but which were not visible at the time as they only become apparent once we dismantled the object.
4. We now want to amend the original quote with the additinal items, and send the customer an updated quote.
5. If the customner accepts these items, we want this to be part of the existing maintenance order. This is a key point for us as this is still part of the same business transaction and its part of the same service job.
From what I can tell, you can only do a requote with the advanced execution scenario by creating a new quoation item with a new and seperate maintenance order. We want to requote using the existing quotation number and the existing PM order number.
Is there a way to achieve this?
Many thanks
Patrick
