I want to add a new segmentation attribute for a "Abandoned Shopping Cart" attribute block. What do I need to do?
Request clarification before answering.
Hello, It is exclusive for the Cloud version out-of-the-box. But for On Premise you can enhance the CDS views and the backend structures accordingly. The data comes through the abandoned shopping card interaction into the system. Unfortunately there is no specific description or SAP support available. Kind regards, Silvia

Hi Maris,
Actually, for this use case you neither need segmentation nor interaction product nor extensibility.
In the Abandoned Shopping Card ITEMS area you can insert Quantity and Unit attributes accordingly. Here you can see a screen print from the Classic Editor.
See
Out-of-the-box available.
I'm not quite sure if I got your point.
Please elaborate more what exactly you are using and why.
Kind regards, Silvia

Hi Maris,
Have you also tried it with a field from Product instead of Interaction Product?

Is it even supposed to work with data from interaction product (line) level? I understand now that "Abandoned Shopping Cart" segmentation block contains only header level attributes and in overall those are fine in an email. Problems are with the interaction product level data.
Are we supposed to use only fixed product data on an item level and interaction header data in emails?
Hi Maris,
You can use Custom Business Objects for the scenario “SAP Marketing Cloud – Segmentation”, through the Marketing Extensibility app. And assign it to Segmentation. In the email in the Content Studio select the appropriate segmentation profile in the Settings – Personalization. Refine the attribute list, and you can use it in any block type. See Extensibility Guide: Customer Business Objects
You can use Custom Fields to enhance the product, or interaction, etc. Enable the usage for Content Studio accordingly. Then the fields are available in the email lite interaction block. See Extensibility Guide: Custom Fields in the Interaction Block.
What kind of attribute do you want to use?
Kind regards, Silvia

Silvia,
we want to send with an "Abandoned Shopping Cart" email a "quantity" and "unit of measure" on a product level. For example, in a cart we had 4 products, then for each we want to show a picture, description, quantity and a unit of measure.
"Quantity" and "Unit of measure" currently are not available on "Abandoned Shopping Cart" attribute block. We added these two to our interaction segmentation profile from an interaction product level - "quantity" and "unit of measure" (standard fields). Unfortunately, it does not work, because for each product "quantity" and "unit of measure" are repeated from each product from the interaction.
Product line is one and all values are repeated on this one line from all interaction products. Like in an image attached.
So I figured that perhaps these attributes I should use from the "Abandoned Shopping Cart" attribute block, but they are not available there. How using Segmentation Customizing I can add them there and will that help to achieve what I want?
