kitchen paper empty - automatic reprint possible?

when the paper in the kitchen printer is empty, how do I enable a reprint of the order?

Hello Julian,

A reprint of the order is not possible. You could just cancel the items of the order that require a printout in the kitchen and create them again in the same receipt / table. But please note the cancellation would trigger a corresponding printout in the kitchen, too. So you have to make sure to dispose of the cancellation printouts to avoid confusion.

thanks for your explanation.

In hospitality mode the suggested process is for our customer a little bit too complex, because a) the kitchen doesnt know in the first place and b) manual messages into the kitchen do not work really well.

Our UseCase is more like "Our paper is empty, send us the orders again of the last two minutes please".

Dear community,

our development team has created a small plugin for a „paper beeper“.

There is a small beeper attached to the printer that makes a sound, when paper is nearly empty.

So kitchen staff knows due to sound noises to quickly change the paper and keep on working.
