We are using Hybris 6.6.0.29 version with mysql 5.7 version. As Amazon RDS for MySQL minor versions 5.7.37 is getting deprecated from Jan 2024 ,recommendation is to update the database to 8.0 version.

SAP commerce 6.6.0.29 is compatible with 5.6 and 5.7 SQL version. What is the recommended approach to upgrade the SQL version to 8.0 for SAP commerce 6.6.0.29
