IPC product configuration.

Hi,

In the transaction commpr01, when I'm trying to configure the products, I'm getting the following errors on the IPC screen.

"Parameter missing" and for some products it is showing "No Initial configuration available".

Can someone guide me, what might be missing to cause this errors.?

Hi Sarath,

First thing you should check whether the IPC setting are maintained in the spro.

SAP IMG -> Customer Relationship Management -> Basic Function -> Product Configuration -> Define XCM Parameters/ Define URL

Second thing make sure whatever product you are looking for have KB maintained in IPC.

<Java server host>:<port>/ipc/init.do

Please let me know if you are able to proceed further.

Hi Prashil,

Thanks for your inputs.

As you suggested, I have maintained  XCM parameters and URLs in CRM under product configuration.

And also, I can see the KB in web IPC. Do I need to do any additional configuration after getting KB in the web IPC screen.

The IPC screen is loading in to COMMPR01> configuration tab. It is showing all the characteristics. Additional to that it is showing the message under message area "Parameter missing" and "No Initial configuration available".

Hi Sarath,

Please take a look at the note 1408563 and note 1406212.

1406212 doesn't seems to be relevant for CRM but you can check your XCM setting.

Also match the SP version with 1408563.
