Dear SAP experts,

We are in the process of implementing CIAM module of Customer data cloud (CDC-Gigya) for one of our customer-facing web applications which runs on an SAP Spartacus (on-premise) UI. Where can I find the architecture for setting up this integration?

I researched and found this document - SAP Customer Data Cloud Integration - Spartacus Documentation which is about integrating with Spartacus cloud (not on-premise). As mentioned in the document, is it mandatory to have SAP Commerce Cloud 2005 & 1905 versions to implement CDC-Gigya?

Can you share the latest documentation which explains the best practices in integrating CDC-Gigya with Spartacus (on-premise) system? And what Spartacus (on-premise) versions support CDC-Gigya integration?

Thanks

Thank you Samuel for your reply. We are running on 1905 on-premise version.

Do the connectors mention in https://help.sap.com/docs/SAP_CUSTOMER_DATA_CLOUD/8b8d6fffe113457094a17701f63e3d6a/416f33e070b21014b... document work from SAP Hybris on-premise servers also?

My implementation partner says this document is specific to SAP commerce cloud only (& not for on-premise). Want to have a second opinion.

Hi Vivek,

Spartacus cloud is basically the same as Spartacus on-prem, the integration also works for on-prem.

Which version of Commerce are you running? SAP would recommend you to run at least 1905 or 2005, but in case you are still on older versions like 1811, the integration should also work, but the CDC extensions can be downloaded from difference places. For old versions please download the integration package from gigya site, for new versions, please download from SAP support site.
