Hi Dai
the 'External Key' column in the templates needs to be unique identifier for the relationship you are creating - Service Request to Related Item. If you are migrating service request from other systems this field will normally be the ID from that system and you can use it to reference the various segments for the service request.
C4C doesn't populate this field unless via DWB so you can simply use number 1 to n for each line.

Hi Olgen
yes, I understand what you mean , if I want to creat a new email activity and a new service request , I know it well to do that with the excel template.
but I do not know how to update "servicereqeust btd preference" for a existed service request.
for example , I create a new email or a chat activity , next I want to create a relationship between this email/chat and one existed serice request through updating the "service request btd reference" for existed service reuqest , which values should be typed in the excel template and what should I do. can you help with this? thanks
Dai you have mentioned only 'external key' in the original message. Which other fields are you having problems with?
What problem are you actually trying to solve as per your message service requests and activities are being created in the system and the system will create these relationships via standard processing e.g. via create follow-up. Why do you need to use the Data Workbench?
