How to stop visit notes from being sent to attendees in C4C

Hello,

We want to stop visit notes from being sent (via email as are using Outlook integration) to attendees after check-out but I can't find a way to dos so. I tried to prevent the synchronization of Notes and attachments as mentioned here, but this doesn't work for me:

Hi Yassine,

Can you indicate why the proposed solution : add a business action restriction to the business role does not work for you?

Does it technically not work or do you expect different behavior?

The proposed solution is the way to handle this request.

Stopping the synchronization of attachments didn't stop the system to send an e-mail to the attendees containing the visit notes.

Hi,

Is there any workflow active that automatically sent the email to the attendees? There is a manual option where you can select the attendess and sent an email, but it is not automatically. I you do not want that to happen you could hide that option via adaption in a page lay out.

With regards to your comment : Stopping the synchronization of attachments didn't stop the system to send an e-mail to the attendees containing the visit notes. Stopping the notes from being replicated and sent is a seperate action. So if you want both not to happen you have to add those 2 actions to business roles. Check your user to see what business roles are attached to make sure that one is not overwriting the other.
