How to delete IC-information from certain ID_ORIGIN

Dear Community,

we have connected several external data-sources to our hybris Marketing on-prem system. Only when a customer grants his consent on the extern sources, his data are transmitted to hybris marketing. Every source is identified by its own id_origin.
Sometimes customers withdraw their consent - in that case we have to delete all IC-data from that specific source/origin. (data from other sources / id_origins must remain available!)

What’s the recommended way to delete the customer data from one certain id_origin?
Should we transmit all customer fields with empty inputs like ' ' ?

Thank you,
Best regards,
Peter

Hi Peter,

in the very recent OnPrem release we added a feature to edit individual permissions from the contact sheet manually.

Dear Peter,

Did you try to play around with below transaction? Origin of contact ID and external ID can be selected, so I would test once and see whether data from only that Origin ID is deleted, or whether all data for that IC is deleted.

Unfortunately I haven't tried this out myself yet, so I don't know whether it would work, however tryign it out on a developmetn server could never hurt.

With regards,

Akil

Dear Akil,

thank you for your answer!
The report works - it deletes only the facet data from the specified Origin ID. Is there also a report to delete all interactions from that facet / Origin ID?

Is it also possible to set facets cold via odata-request?

Best regards,
Peter

Dear Peter,

You can use the same transaction to delete all interactions for a contact. To delete all interactions for a contact, I usually select the following options, and input the DB Key from the root table:

I don't know whether OData can be used to set contacts to cold.

Akil
