Hello, we are trying to delete E-mail-addresses from a contact in SAP Marketing Cloud. Over the last months/years this contact has being registered with several E-Mail-addresses but today only one is valid - therefore we are trying to delete the other email-addresses from this contact. Does someone know how to do that? 🙂 Thanks in advance and regards, Florian

Hi Florian
You can also use the application jobs "Contacts: Flag Contact IDs for Deletion" and "Contacts: Delete Flagged Contact IDs". To check which origin ID you should select, you can go to "Inspect contact", here you find the respective origin of the E-mail address. In this way all interaction data remains at the contact.

Danny

Hi Saravana, thanks for your answer - does it mean that interaction data or the history is going to be deleted as well? Or is it only the email address that is being deleted?

Hi Florian,
You can dry deleting the Email using the Function Import Delete All Additional ID's and then import the only the required additional ids again
Function Imports - SAP Help Portal
ContactOriginDeleteAdditionalIDs
Deletes all additional IDs from one origin except for IDs that come from the origin data.

Saravana.
