how to create billing plan line items for existing service order

Hi,

i would like to know how i am able to
- create billing plan line items for existing service order items and
- create a bill plan in service order header

using S4/SERVICE (Release 2021 onPremise)

i was able to add the tab for bill plan for position items but its read only -> is this the correct way?

the real reason, I don't know actually.

I guess - it's my own explanation- that the option existed in the old CRM system where the service orders were replicated as sales orders in ECC system.

I need that this option leads error because some customers asked about it. I always sent the link to the help

that is the only reference to billing plan in the help.

Hi Gerhard,

billing plans are only available in contracts and contract items...I checked the newest version 2022 and it seems that Service orders don't offer that feature either.

quick follow-up: Why is it possible to publish the billing plan view in Service Orders (like Gerhard showed in his screenshot) if there is no functionality involved? Is it simply a leftover from CRM?
