How can we get data from a custom a web form into emarsys?

Suppose we have a email campaign which has a link to a web form that has some fields that customers need to fill to enrich their profile in our system (contact fields and even custom contact fields), how can we get this contact data from this custom web form into emarsys? can this be achieved by web exend commands?

Hi ayush.bhardwaj02, the easiest option is to use an Emarsys form, which will pull the data to Emarsys directly. There you can use whatever custom fields you have in your Emarsys account. Otherwise you can use the API to push the data to Emarsys. Web Extend is more for collecting behaviour events, rather than contact preferences.

Thanks for the answer, i was able to determine that the background registration option in emarsys forms will most probably be my best bet to pull data from an external web form into emarsys.
