test-email-in-outlook.pngtest-email-in-browser.pngHello Experts,
we would like to change to the Email Lite Editor and are testing there our email templates. The preview function is a great feature, but still we send also a test email to see how the layout works in outlook. Since the "view in browser" link does not work in test emails, we open the email then with the outlook action function to see it in browser. Naturally it can then only be opened with IE or Edge. Anyway, we always face the same problem:
The header section with our company logo as well as the header image are not displayed.
We made also a test by using the example templates that are in email lite, to see if the problem is in our formatting. However, also the example email of "watch out products" was also displayed in browser with the logo and header image.
Can someone tell if the problem is our internal company settings in outlook/edge?
Curiously with the old editor we don't have this problem.

Hello again,
I still wonder even though the the incident was closed with the explanation that the problem is on the microsoft application while as I said the test emails from the old editor are displayed correctly also at test emails with the view in browser function in outlook. The problem with the new email lite editor also affects only the header images and the button. The header image is never shown and the button always in the middle although it would be aligned left.

Hello Ralf,
there is no custom css in these emails. And as I told, it also happens when sending a test from the example emails that are available as templates in email lite.
My colleague Christof already made a incident with this problem
https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#/incident/pointer/002075129400001537072023
Still, I would like to see the screenshot from your test email opened with the browser from outlook to convince me that the problem is only on our systems.
Peculiar is also the case that the problem only exists with test emails done with email lite editor and NOT with the old editor.
Best regards
Mia

Hello Mia,
thanks for your post. Sorry but out of the blue I can't tell you what is wrong with your email or template. There can be so many options to make the message looking wrong, therefore I would recommend to open an incident, so that we are able to access your system and check you messages. Often custom CSS cause some side effect.
Btw. from MS we only support Edge and no IE anymore.
Thanks and best regards
Ralf
