Determining Direct URL for Reports or Dashboards in SAP C4C

I am looking to identify a direct link to a report or dashboard in SAP C4C so that I can include it in my custom broadcast or e-mail. The standard SAP documentation on "Predetermining URLs for Direct Navigation" provides examples of URL formation only for documents. Is there a principle for creating a link to a report or dashboard?

Thank you for your assistance!

julius.pereira25 Thank for you support

This is a very good workaround for obtaining a link to a report.

It's unfortunate that this cannot be done for a dashboard (there is no option to send an email there).

I've found another option: use a test broadcast for dashboards and another for report, and the email will also contain a link. However, this link is quite long and not user-friendly for business users.

The main goal is to send a daily morning broadcast to users who have tickets in their approval. Since WF reminders for each ticket are being ignored, we need to consolidate them into one morning email.

My approach is to send a scheduled broadcast with a manual link to the dashboard in the email body, and I've added an xls file with report data. The issue, however, is the length and lack of user-friendliness of the link.

If there is any option to have a shorter link for dashboards or reports, I would be grateful.

Hi Anna,

There is also constructing the report link option.
https://help.sap.com/docs/SAP_CLOUD_FOR_CUSTOMER/66e9a9081a7b40e38c8604d6617d0311/4b75a4500c3c42569a...

Unfortunately the final part "transfer parameters" doesn't work for us, yet.
We have had an incident open with SAP, for a few months to help with why the parameters dont work as per instructions.

It does work just for report, view and selection.

Hi Anna,

I don't know if that is possible for reports. But I have a workaround which might work.

From your report, click on the 3 dots and then click on send via email.

and then choose As E-Mail Link (Web Browser), enter your email address and send.

Then you will get an email with a link to the report which you should be able to use as you please.

Hope this helps accomodate your use case.

Julius

Thanks mpuys

It is really works for report!

If you want to have shot link to report for default view and selection -it is enough structure:

https://system-url]/sap/public/ap/ui/repository/SAP_UI/HTML5/client.html?app.component=/SAP_BYD_TF/Analytics/AnalysisPattern/ANA_AP_Standalone.QA.uicomponent&app.inport=AnalysisPattern&param.ReportId=[ReportId]
