Hey at all,
i try to figure out the following: Is there a default way to use SOM (LORD with SAP R3) in comibination with OCC V2 (stateless) with spartacus?
Now in Detail:
We are trying to implement Spartacus (Composable Storefront) at the moment. Actually we are using the default b2b storefront with SAP R3 and the synchronous order management (Lean order management).
I checked out the standard code and in - for example - DefaultBolCartFacade -> public Basket getCart(). There the code is referencing to bean 'sapOrdermgmtCartBO' which is stored in the scope called 'sapSession'.
Of course the session scope - and the sapSession - in the OCC V2 is not available anymore because of the stateless system. So its not possible to store the ERP Basket in the sapSession.
How to handle this situation? Do we have to implement our own solution or is there something which i can use from SAP?
Have someone the same situation?
Thank you all!!

Are you trying to implement SOM (LORD with SAP R3) on CCV2 (SAP Commerce Cloud in the Public Cloud)? If so, you've likely hit a dead end.
Synchronous Order Management (SOM and the LORD APIs) are not supported on SAP Commerce Cloud in the Public Cloud.
See Synchronous Order Management Module | SAP Help Portal
If you are doing this with SAP Commerce (not CCV2), do note that the EOMM (end of mainstream maintenance) of SAP Commerce (not CCV2) is July 31st, 2026 (as of this posting) - Supported Releases | SAP Help Portal
