Change Sales Organization for Account

Hello

We have set up a new organization and I need to transfer a number of existing customers (approximately 1000) to the new sales organization. How do I do this?

I have tried doing this through the data workbench and I end up with both sales organizations listed on the account. It would be useful to have both listed provided one was inactive so that all the history remains with the original sales organization. But if this can't be done then deleting the original sales organization would have to do but can't work out how to do this either.

Please note the original sales organization is still in existence.

if you created new org and updated accounts using the DW and if you change the validity of the old org then system will not allow this account to do business with that org data and system give error as the org is not valid

also using DW you can also delete the unwanted org in accounts so please try thsi options but in UI there is no status filed for org data to show as inactive or active
