Change documents for SERVICE_OS (status reason)

We use the SERVICE_OS segment to maintain status reasons. They are defined in the SPRO customizing for "Define Code Groups and Codes for Catalogs" and linked to a specific user status through the subject profile.

I want to activate Change Documents (Change History, table CDHDR/CDPOS) for SERVICE_OS segment of my One Order document (Service Request).

Table CRMA_SERVICE_OS is active in SCDO (object CRM_ORDER).

I tried going to SM30 view CRMV_OBJECTS and set the change document relation as such:

But it dumps (program LCRM_ORDER_TOOLSF07, line 56) when saving because the maintained structure (CRMT_SERVICE_OS_DB_WRK) doesn't exist.

Any help is greatly appreciated on how to reflect the status reason in the Change History.

Hello Vincent,

If you want to activate the change history for Service Requests in the Web UI for the SERVICE_OS object, just go to SPRO and search for customizing entry "Define Change History for Processing Log" (in 'Transactions > Settings for Service Requests > Settings for Processing Log') and maintain the following entry.

(I just checked in view CRMV_OBJECTS in my system and field 'Change Doc Rel' is also set to 'Not relevant')

Kind Regards,

Fabian

Hello Fabian,

Thank you for your answer.

I have maintained it as in your screenshot and I have also maintained the transaction type for "Change Fields" in IMG activity "Assign Log Types to Transaction Types", but it still does not appear in the Change History.

Best regards

Hello Vincent,

In the Web UI you have to use the assignment block "Processing Log" (Component SRQM_PROC_LOG), not the "Change History" one.

Kind Regards,

Fabian

Thank you Fabian, I will try that and report back

I would have liked to have it in the same Change History AB though
