CDP - Sales/Service V2 integration - Initial Data Load

Hi Experts,

I'm trying to integrate Sales/Service V2 with CDP according to the SAP Help guide.

I added the V2 tenant as a Source System in CDP and configured for example the Event SAP Sync - Create or update an individual customer in real time

I also created the Communication System and Configuration in V2.

But how do I initially replicate the data from V2 to CDP? Is it triggered in V2? And how are newly created Customers replicated? For transactional data (leads, activities...) it is done by configuring Auto Flows in V2?

Hi Tobias,

For the configuration setup you can follow the below steps.

  1. In the C4C, Go to User Menu > Settings >  All Settings >  Integration > Communication Systems
under the the communication systems of C4C, configure the hostname of the URL to be https://cdp.Eu5-prod.gigya.com. Do not configure the full listener URL here from the CDP application.
  2. In the C4C, Go to User Menu > Settings >  All Settings >  Integration > Communication Configurations
under the communication configuration of C4C, set the target entity API path to be the rest of the URL present in the listener under OAuth2 which is
/api/businessunits/business-unitid/applications/application-id/dataevents/odmevents, there is visible in the CDP application created under Connect > Sources > Your C4C application where the listener URL is present.
  3. For testing the configurations(Accounts/Individual customers). Create a new account from C4C quick create screen/ Update the existing account and SAVE.

  4. Next, you can navigate to the path Settings > Integration > Message Monitoring and select the Outbound Tab.
You can see the status of the webservice messages.
