Categorization Schema for Service Contracts

Hello All,

I need to have Categorization Schema for Service Contract both at Header and Item. I have done the customization in Multilevel Categorization and created schema in Fiori.

I am not able to see this while contract creation. Is there anything I am missing?

Hi Bidhu,

We don't support Categorization for service contracts in SAP S/4HANA. You can see the Help documentation here for all supported service transactions.

If you're using SAP CRM, the function might be working for service contracts. Could you let us know your business scenarios of using categorization in service contracts?

Hello Wei,

Thank you for your quick reply. We are using S/4HANA Service (Currently in Explore Phase, Final decission pending on 2021 or 2022).

Our business is into engineering equipments and we have various types of contracts with different customers, these are set as Level 1 / 2/ 3 etc. Some contracts has software included some has oil replacement etc.

Categorization is important to have from calling right templates and further analytics point of view.
