Bulk Individual Customer Data Deletion from C4C.

Dear All,

I have requirement to perform complete removal of 300K Individual Customer from C4C.

Currently using Data Protection and Privacy Work Center -> Personal Data Removal -> All Private account, "Filter with required customer id -> Select ->Remove data option in QA and having serious performance issue. It takes around 1 hour to remove 100 Customer.

Have you worked or experience this scenario ?

Please note, these accounts are not having any transaction related data.

Dear Manas,

Deleting Accounts is not possible but you can Mass Block/Obsolete them using Data workbench.

You need to update the status of the Accounts from 2 (active) to 4 (obsolete).

Please perform the following steps to do so:

1. Export all the Accounts that need to be set as Obsolete from Data Workbench as follows:

i. Go to Data Workbench work center

i. Click on Export view

iii. Search for the Accounts that need to be set as Obsolete using the filters

iv. Click on Next until Export

v. Go to Monitor view

vi. Open the file which got created as a task

2.Now you can change the status of the Customers in this file from 2 (active) to 4 (obsolete).

3. Upload the file with the changes made to Data Workbench work center as Update Individual Object (complete business object is not required here, because you only wish to modify the status)

Once you upload the file all the customers mentioned in the file will become Obsolete.
