Access is denied - NW2004S - CRM 5.0

Hi everyone,

we are running :

NW2004S EP70 SP6 - domain is bbrucon3.bru.sap.corp

CRM 5.0 Level 002 on WAS 70 SP05 - domain is xcztdc00.wdf.sap.corp, internal ITS is activated.

We have imported the business package for CRM 5.0 SP01 in the portal.

The portal test user has roles com.sap.pct.crm.crm_user and com.sap.pct.crm.salesrepresentative assigned.

When we go to for example account management -> accounts, at the left bottom of the internet explorer frame 'access is denied' is being displayed. When we click for example the drop down list 'accounts', a javascript error issuing the same warning 'access is denied' is displayed.

When opening the transaction in a separate window (properties of the bsp displayed -> copy paste url), 'access is denied' is also listed at the bottom of the page.

In the system configuration of the portal, the CRM system is configured as saplogonticket, with usermapping. Furthermore, the fully qualified domain name of the ITS and WAS are entered.

Any help is appreciated,

Many thanks!

Kevin

Hi Kevin,

what does the Internet Explorer shows in right bottom? Does it display "Local intranet"? If not perhaps the security zone model of the Browser can cause this problems.

Hi Gregor,

I have added the server running the BSP's / ITS to the trusted sites, so 'Trusted Sites' is shown in right bottom of Internet Explorer.

Thanks for the help,

Kev

Hi Kev,

perhaps the security is to high. Try to remove the sites from Trusted Sites and add it to the Intranet Zone. Have you tried Firefox?

Hi Gregor,

just tried Firefox, but seems like the dropdown menu's on the buttons (like buttons 'go to', 'export') etc don't work there, nor does the dropdowlist.

I set the security settings in IE to the lowest, tried again with the BSP server in and out of the trusted sites. Unfortunately, same problem.

Best regards,

Kevin

Hi Kevin,

i think the Account IView is implemented as a PC-UI Application. Have you tried to run it standalone via Transaction CRMC_PCUITOOLS?

Hi Gregor,

calling the BSP application ie CRMM_ACCOUNT directly, without portal results everything working ok : the create and go to button work, so do all the hyperlinks works. So it seems that all settings in CRM are OK.

So perhaps some authorisation problem in the portal?

Best regards,

Kevin

Hi Kevin,

what you can try also is to build your own HTML Page with a IView pointing to the CRM BSP. Put this Page on a Webserver in the .sap.corp Domain (Not the CRM Server) and try it. If you get the Problem here also then it is a Internet Explorer Zone/Security problem.

Not sure if this problem was solved but we had exactly the same problem and after including the FQDN in the Portal URL all works fine.Eg. sapnanjb.sap.corp:50000/irj
