On October 5-6, we offered a virtual SAP MaxAttention Innovation Workshop sharing the latest details and experiences for “Intelligent Automation for the Intelligent Enterprise Suite”. This workshop was primarily focusing on the SAP Intelligent Robotic Process Automation solution. The agenda for this workshop can be found here.
The first day has started with the “Vision for Automation” session. In this session we have presented the future trends for automation and spoke about its key values for an Intelligent Enterprise.
Next, we provided an overview for intelligent technologies and already available packages included in the Intelligent Enterprise, emphasizing that the artificial intelligence is the core of the Intelligent Enterprise. The intelligent technologies packages are available now for the following cloud solutions: S/4HANA Cloud, SAP S/4HANA Single Tenant Edition and SAP SuccessFactors. Both sessions created an excellent momentum to explore the SAP Intelligent Robotic Process Automation solution.
After the overview session, SAP product architects from SAP Intelligent Robotic Process Automation (SAP Intelligent RPA) team have presented the functional and technical capabilities of the SAP Intelligent RPA solution. This presentation included the typical architecture part and supported scenarios. Using several customer use-cases and system demos we spoke about the best practices how to best use the SAP Intelligent RPA solution.
Concluding the first day of the workshop, we discussed how to identify the potential for business process automation using the SAP MaxAttention services. Focused services help to find the areas that can increase the degree of automation in business processes (especially for no value-adding, repetitive tasks) to reduce process and overhead costs.
The second day of the workshop started with the introduction of the SAP Cloud Platform Workflow Management solution. This solution is a part of SAP Cloud Platform and includes the services to digitize workflows, automate business processes, manage decision logic and gain end-to-end process visibility.

Speaking about the SAP Cloud Platform Workflow Management it was important to review the capabilities of the SAP Cloud Platform as a main innovation platform for Intelligent Enterprise. In the overview session for the foundational services we spoke about intelligent architecture, infrastructure, services, integration and roadmap of SAP Cloud Platform. There are many customer success stories that help to realize the scale of automation and business values.
Concluding the workshop, we discussed how SAP MaxAttention services support the innovation journey and Intelligent Enterprise. Our extended service portfolio of SAP Innovation Services focusses on innovative edge technologies, design, and architecture.

- It provides a wide process visibility with the SAP Cloud Platform Process Visibility, and process insights into smart process applications using the SAP Process Mining by Celonis, cloud edition.
- It includes the task management, collaboration and case management for improved productivity empowered by the conversational user experience.
