Need Advice for career advancement

Hi All,

I badly need an advice for my career advancement. I am certified SAP FI associate. I completed certification in 2011 and have around 4 years of SAP relevant experience and total of 9 years of experience (5 years experience in Finance). I don't see my career progressing and at times I am really depressed. I wanted to learn something new, can you please help me to know the best module that could help me in my career advancement. Currently I am based out in INDIA and am really not sure which Module will help me most.

hi,

you are in right module and I see a lot of prospects for you. indeed FI is one of the 'core' modules and you will find a lot of people in it. You have the right certification, experience to break into any organization. Just be patience, update your naukri profile daily and upload resume on all leading organization. Move to Bangalore for a while. best of luck.

Dear Rajat,

Among all the Core modules, FI is the toughest and more paid.

Do more number of projects across different industries. This is possible when u join a Consulting Company.

For Career Advancement, you can move to BPC.

Thanks for your valuable advice. Can you please help me and tell me what are the pre-requisites for BPC. As per my understanding along with FI, knowledge of BW is must for BPC.

Dear Rajat,

I am not sure but I have seen in my projects that a BPC Consultants generally know both FI and BW.

Since you are in a consulting company, meet few real time BPC Consultants and you can get all information and documents and guidance from them.

But BPC would be a Good option for you as per me.
