HI Sir,

The content of traning was Plant/Storage location creation, Material type/Split valuation/Purchasing group/PO document type/Account group and two more topics.

i have not  fully understand the process. MM is new for me but still I am doing troubleshooting ,I want to learn more.

Ravi,

If you know the SD processes, you can imagine the MM processes.

The institute might have given you the training material. That has to be revised many times.

Further read and understand the SAP MM standard processes.

These things shall help.

At work, if you get opportunities to work on MM, that would help you in your understanding further.

Good luck!

I have not taken training from institute. I am in requirement of SAP MM notes. Can you please help?

But before, you told that you took a training. Just reading trough some notes isn't the same as a training.

In case of you are an SD expert ( as you also told us ) you should have some basic understanding of MM-Process, because a Direct delivery to the customer hits the MM process as well...

Don't you got some colleagues which are into the main processes and are able to explain it to you?

Florian

Ravi,

Work with the user and understand the business process for MM .

Then you link your SAP logic to it , and for that take the help of SCN and SAP document .

I think u r in a site and you do support job - If its support you will get little to do with config part rt - its generic

Hi Ravi,

I donot know about your domain experience, Any how you need to know about the various business scenarios for industries like how it runs and try to relate this scenarios in SAP. If you relate it you will start search about the configuration in order to execute in SAP. If you do so, then you will understand the content of training which was provided to you and also you will gain good exp, as shiva said in order to learn CIN, First learn India's Tax law for Procurement like for Import Customs, Subcontracting etc....

Hope this helps to you...

Thanks

Nayeem.
