The SAP Autism Inclusion Pledge aims to re-shape thinking about employment possibilities for individuals on the autism spectrum.

Hiring people with autism has proven to increase diversity of thought and drive innovation. And yet, up to 90% of the adults with autism are under or unemployed and over half a million individuals with autism are moving into adulthood.

To make a difference, SAP created the Autism at Work program which shines a light on the power of neurodiversity to change the status quo and help fuel innovation.Talented individuals with autism are hired according to skills, abilities, and business need just like all other colleagues.

What reinforces our mission to be autism inclusive is witnessing the heartfelt reactions when sharing our experiences with the community, the stories from neurotypical colleagues about how Autism at Work factored into their decision to join SAP, and the tales of employees feeling reinvigorated by connecting with the program around the world.

In fact, we have learned so much from working with people with autism that we encourage all organizations to consider candidates with autism for employment opportunities. We make this possible with our new SAP Autism Inclusion Pledge.

Please check it out by registering today: sap.com/AutismInclusionPledge

Everyone who takes the pledge gains exclusive access to free content based on SAP’s seven years of experience with the SAP Autism at Work program. Whether your organization is starting to consider an autism inclusion program or already has an established program in place, these assets provide excellent insights and inspiration for taking the next step.
