SAP held its
Leonardo Live event in Chicago on November 2
nd and 3
rd and as part of the outstanding agenda we were able to highlight our
SAP Next-Gen activities in the Chicago area.
The agenda featured several SAP and industry thought leaders, an extensive SAP and partner demo showcase and several informative breakout sessions. As part of our efforts to strengthen our connections across the SAP Next-Gen network, we were able to include several key customer partners, students/faculty from Midwestern universities and entrepreneurs interested in
SAP Leonardo.
Of particular note was the Friday session entitled “
The Elements of Disruptive Innovation for a Digital Business” during which I had the pleasure of speaking alongside
Dennis Boecker, Global IT Innovation Lead for Bosch. We shared themes around building our SAP Next-Gen network in the Midwest and the success story of the
Connectory, where Bosch is driving digital transformation and new business models by collaborating with the startup ecosystem. The company engages with startups and SAP to identify collaboration opportunities through partnerships with organizations such as
Techstars and startup incubator
1871.
The breakout session provided us with an opportunity to highlight our upcoming
SAP Next-Gen Lab opening at the
University of Illinois Chicago on November 16
th. Leonardo Live was a terrific event and provided a unique opportunity to bring our customers, partners and universities together around the SAP innovation story.
