A variable declared as CHAR with length 18.

I am Giving the Value 10001102 but it stroing as 000000000010001102.

I need the same value.

How to convert it.

Hi,

Use CONVERSION_EXIT_ALPHA_INPUT or CONVERSION_EXIT_ALPHA_OUTPUT fun module and pass the same field for both input and output.

YOu have to use the conversion exit:

CONVERSION_EXIT_ALPHA_INPUT to convert the 110112 into 00000000011012

HI,

use the FM'S CONVERSION_EXIT_ALPHA_INPUT or CONVERSION_EXIT_ALPHA_OUTPUT .pass the variable to it..it will give u ur required value.

CONVERSION_EXIT_ALPHA_OUTPUT

this function module eliminates the Leading Zeros..

You can also try this in addition to above replies

REPORT Y_RAMESH_TEST NO STANDARD PAGE HEADING.

DATA : V_CHAR(18) VALUE '10001102'.

PACK V_CHAR TO V_CHAR.

WRITE : V_CHAR.

Without PACK statement also its working , but can you show ur code?
