Use an existing screen in the table maintenance generator

Hi Friends,

I have copied the standard screen to a Z screen in SE51. I have a Z view for which I did the table maintenance generator.

Now I want to add the copied Z screen to this table maintenance generator. How can I achieve this. I have give the Function Group name in the table maintenance generator as XXXXX (where screen program name is SAPLXXXXX). And given the same screen numbers that I copied.

On saving it gives only one option to overwrite the existing screen. Once I do that, my copied screen is completely modified and it gives a different screen. So, please provide me a solution, how to add the existing screen to the table maintenance generator?

Since we are generating the screen again, the layout will be changed according to the fields of the View. So, in order to make this look like the standard screen, we need to modify the layout manually using SE51 tcode.
