For the same variables in target prog. Modif have been used then what is the impact on the passing variables.

Regards

Reddy.

hi,

there diff types in submit:

SUBMIT ZTRAN4R VIA SELECTION-SCREEN AND RETURN.

SUBMIT ZTRAN4R USING SELECTION-SET VARIANT.

SUBMIT ZTRAN4R WITH S_MATNR = MARC-MATNR AND RETURN .

Source and target parameters need not be same but it should be same type.

HI,

SUBMIT ZPSR3E_COSTREV_CLD

WITH CN_PROJN-LOW EQ I_PROJECTS-PSPID

WITH P_DATE EQ P_BUDAT

WITH P_LEGCO EQ P_LEGCO

AND RETURN.

In the above statement CN_PROJN-LOW , P_DATE AND P_LEGCO must be with the same name in the target progtam ZPSR3E_COSTREV_CLD. ?

Yes, that is correct..

but just one point if you are using select-option it is better to populate a range in your calling abap and pass the same.

Dear Chandu,

The variables must have same data type. In all ways SUBMIT will be working in same external session with new internal session. Hence ABAP memory will be used. Nothing would be happening if you are thinking from point of view of variable updates and all.

Deva.
