First you need to create a "Change Document Object" via transaction SCDO and attach you Z-table to this document, then generate the function module to use in update tasks.

Look at <a href="http://help.sap.com/saphelp_erp2004/helpdata/en/2a/fa015b493111d182b70000e829fbfe/frameset.htm">Change documents</a>

if you want to track the changes for the table....

then u have to go to Techinical settings of the table and check the check box for

log changes. its at the bottom.

and use tcode SCU3 to see the changes

(1) create a change object via SCDO, Zxxxx and give a text, and attach your(s) Z-table(s)

e.g.. : BELEG for FI document, EINKBELEG for purchase order, and the like

(2) Generate (SCDO again) the program to generate CDHDR/CDPOS

some includes are created along with a function module/group.

(3) In your program, add the include (top and form) and put a call to the form provided

This form will execute the generated function module in update task, so call the form with the before and after image of your data before the COMMIT WORK.

For update task and update of data, look at <a href="http://help.sap.com/printdocu/core/Print46c/en/data/pdf/BCCSTUP/BCCSTUP_PT.pdf">Updates in the R/3 System (BC-CST-UP)</a>

hi,

In your Z table go to technical setting => check Log data changes check box.

So that will track the data record changes on that table.

If you want you can view the tcode <b>Transaction Table history (SCU3).</b>

reward point if this helps
