Hi All,
Can you please help me out in this situation :
I have assigned a issue to moving maintenance on table T023 out of SPRO and directly into the transaction OMSF which I believe basically make the table no longer cross-client. Now I want to know if is it true that to move from SPRO to a transaction it had to be done before going live. I think this is not possible once we go live, can you please tell me if I am right and if I am not then can you guide me how can we achieve this (how can we movemaintenance on table T023 out of SPRO and directly into the transaction OMSF or any ztransaction ).
Thanks,

Hi,
You don't have to go into transaction SPRO for maintaining the table T023.
You can use transaction code OMSF directly.
If you can't do that,is is a role or auhorization problem.
If you use transaction OMSF, SAP will work exactly as in SPRO - it is the same thing.
If you create a maintanice view on table T023 and create a z-transaktion of that one, will you miss all SAP updates in other connected tables (if there are any)

Rajeev,
I am not sure what you meant when you said moving the maintenance out of SPRO.
To my understanding Table maintenance are generally attached to a TCODE in this case as u said OMSF.
As for a solution , you must generate a maintenance view of the table T023. Create a Z tcode and assign the
table maintenance to the TCode. Procedure is readily available on SDN. Hope this answers.
