hi,

If u know the structure and field then u can search where it is used by using Where-used list.It will be in the Menu bar.

Hi,

Threre are numerious ways,

1. You can double click on structure and use where-used list.

2. Go to Data Element of the Table and use where-used list for structures and Data Tables.

3. Go to ST05 and Activate Trace and Run Transaction and Then Display it to get database fields and Database.

4. Also you can check for CHECK TABLES, Search help etc.

HI ,

Use where used list button and check the objects in the pop up screen like programs, db tables...etc.

The system search and gives the result.

Kaushik,

for ex:-

RUN VA02

RUN ST05

CLICK ON ACTIVATE TRACE

GO AHEAD WITH THE VA02 PROCESS

NOW AGAIN GO TO ST05 AND DEACTIVATE THE TRACE.

NOW CLICK ON DISPLAY TRACE.

CHOOSE TRACE LIST.

This way we will be able to findout the table name of a particular field when the F1 help is showing the structure name.Yes I agree the trace list is bit complex to understand but I don't know any otherway.let's see what SDN experts opine.
