Start SPRO with "Run ABAP Application" (Alt+F8)

Hi,

any idea how I can start transaction SPRO from the dialog "Run ABAP Application".

When I enter spro there are 50 results starting with spro, but not transaction SPRO,

I know, I can start SPRO from eclipse in several other places, but maybe it is also possible here?

Hi Dominik,

this should definitely possible from Alt-F8. If not, this is a bug. Please check if SAP Note 1974077 already contains a correction instruction which is valid for your backend system as this addresses exactly your problem.

If it doesn't contain a valid correction instruction, please open an OSS ticket so that we get all the necessary information in order to enhance this note with a valid correction.

The Note is valid for 731 SP 10 and 11.

We still have SP 07 here.

So I think I should open an OSS ticket.

Do I do this with the solution manager of our SAP Partner?

Or somehow directly so that your team gets it?

well, the information that you have 731 SP07 is enough for me for now so that you don't need to create a ticket.

In this case my proposal would be that I just take care for a correction for SP07 and I keep you updated as soon as we have a new version of the note.

SAP Note 1974077 now contains correction instructions for 731 SP07 and higher. This should fix your problem. If not, just let me know.
