Hey All,

Can anyone give me some examples of segregation of duties in SAP BI?

Thanks,

Hi,

The nature of BI is reporting and the activities related to duties are in R/3. Hence the concern in BI is whether access is based on "need to know" basis or not. The SOD is a enterprise wide concern hence there is a need to keep even R/3 access rights in mind for defining SOD related BI transactions.

I hope this helps.

In addition to the reporting aspect of BI which should be reviewed for SOD violations, you should also include Basis and Security rules.
