Selection texts in Chinese

Hi all,

I have a report with Material number on the selection Screen. Now my problem is I need to display the selection text both in English and Chinese. Tried from SE63 but not successful yet. Form SDN I came to know that there is an option in SE38 Goto -> translation while creating the selection texts, but not clear how to use this. Can anybody please help.

u want to display in chinese when he login in cn

go to text elements and now click on translation in menu bar

check whether selection text is maintained.

Hello Manjula,

I have the same requirement of translating the selection text from EN to ZH (Chinese) language.

I tried using SE38 method, but, not of much help.

Could you please let me know how you managed to translate it?

It would be of great help.

Hi,

In SE38 follow this path : Goto --> Text elements -->Selection Texts. This takes to Selection Texts screen.

Here follow the path Goto --> Translation. Enter the Original Language ( EN) and Target Language ( ZH).

Enter the Text in Chinese for the selection Options manullay ( I got it from Google). Save and Activate.
