SELECTION-SCREEN: BEGIN OF LINE.

Hi,

I have a need to have a block of code like this:

  SELECTION-SCREEN: BEGIN OF LINE.
    PARAMETERS: abc TYPE some_type.
    PARAMETERS: def AS CHECKBOX.
  SELECTION-SCREEN: END OF LINE.

abc and def are defined as Selection Text but I do not see any text of these elements when I execute the report.

Without SELECTION-SCREEN: BEGIN OF LINE I can see the text. I need to have these two elements on one line.

Also, how can I create a text element in SAP GUI?

Thank you.

Hullo,

If you put parameters into a line the standard text is not displayed, you should use comments to add your texts.

SELECTION-SCREEN: BEGIN OF LINE.
PARAMETERS: abc TYPE some_type.
SELECTION-SCREEN COMMENT X1(Y1) TEXT-001 FOR FIELD abc.
PARAMETERS: def AS CHECKBOX.
SELECTION-SCREEN COMMENT X2(Y2) TEXT-002 FOR FIELD def.
SELECTION-SCREEN: END OF LINE.

Where X1 and X2 are the positions of the beginning of the texts and Y1 and Y2 are the length of the texts.

To create the text-elements TEXT-001 and TEXT-002, just double click on the names.

Hope this helps.
