I would like to restrict the user for not scheduling the periodic jobs,, if you know how to do that please let me know.

Is there any authorization restriction concept to block this for perticular userid

You can only restrict them from releasing their own jobs (object S_BTCH_JOB action "DELE").

Alternately, you can tweak a special config table called BTCOPTIONS. Take a look at SAP notes for it.

Cheers,

Julius

Not sure if this can be done with the help of a code, your Basis team would be in a better position to answer this, might be something to do with the authorizations

Rahul, your question is related to SAP security. You have to either approach your security team member or post a question in the security forum.

Check out the UserExits/Badis for SM36/SM37 which might be getting activated when we Click Periodic Job. Do some Explore.
