Hi what is da difference bw the two printers LOCL nd LP01

Hi Raj,

LOCL - stands for Local printer. It could be any printer which is configured for your computer.

LP01 - Line printer.

could u plz explain me the diff...what is dis line printer.......

Line printer wotn give u any out put in paper, it just displays on screen. U can say it s dummy printer. That need not to be configured. When u install sap it comes automatically. but for the LOCL (Local printer) we need configure and put some drivers to work with it.

Hi Raj,

LOCL - Local printer which you have installed in our computer.

LP01 - Standard SAP printer. This is the default printer if you havent specified any LOCL printer.

If LOCL is available, then LOCL overrides LP01.

LP01 stands for Local Printer - Default printer when you install SAP GUI.
