PO Workflow

I am making a workflow for the release of purchase order. I have some queries. In the business object BUS2012 there are two methods singlerelease and release. What is the difference between these two? Moreover, what is the event ReleaseStepCreated? And which field indicates that PO has been released. And what is the value of release code when the PO IS released.

Hi,

Workflow automates the steps and activities in a business process according to predefined procedures and rules.

Workflow presents information and documents to the appropriate knowledge worker or agent (another entity such as a program) to make a decision or perform an activity.

Workflow tracks each and every step in the process flow and maintains an ongoing status.

Workflow also collects and reports all of the metrics associated with the execution and completion of the process.

Hi

in BUS2012 methods

Single release emans the Individual Release of that particular PO manually

Release- Releasing the PO's using the Std Tcode ME28

So better use RELEASE method only

see the Program of this BUS2012 you will come to know the release related code and fields that are used in the program.

check the fun module BAPI_PO_RELEASE

release codes are stored in T16FS table see that table

also see T16Fg and T16FB tables
