if you don't maintain the Texts at Data element level you will see the + in the column texts. You maintain the Labels at Dataelement level and activate the table /

You need to regenerate the Tablemaintenance again to effect the changes .

Maintain the data element for those fields. Give the short, medium, long texts....... for those fields in data element.

Guys,

thanks for answer.

If I change the data element in the table, do I loose my data?

Thank you,

Olian

Shano,

Are you sure?

Thank you,

When you try to change the data element(data type or length) itself, the system will not allow you to change the data element. If you want to change the data element then you need to delete the whole data and then the system will allow you to change the data element.

If you keep the data type and length same as before then you can change the data element.

All the data will be there , Don't worry about that. Only thing you need to Regenerate thats all.

Hi,

You should maintain the data element for those fields and give the short, medium and long texts for those fields in data element.

The Adjust the database using se14 ( database utilities).
