Modify generated segments - idoc

Hi,

I have a Z message type with a segment. I need to add a new field into the segment. But i am getting this error:

"Segment type Z1BP_CONTAINERINFO cannot be changed"

because the segment in already generated!!

How can this be resolved?

hi ,

-> goto we31.

-> goto edit->cancel release

->switch to change mode

-> add ur field

-> again savae and release the segment.

you need to cancel release of the segment and add your own field and release once again.

Hi,

You have to cancel the release first. Go to WE31 and select cancel release from the menu.

Enter in the change mode and add new field and save.

At last release the segment again.
