menu Translation

I Have extended area menu PS01 using transaction se43n and created an enhancement ID which contain a new area menu with a number of reports.

I cannot translate the new menu into Arabic.

Hello,

you could use SE63 (translation). The Path would be translation-> short texts -> structures -> hierachy node texts. The structure id would be the area menu.

Hi Wolfgang,

Thanks for that however we are on SAP ECC 6.0 and the menu is not as you say. Instead I have Translation > ABAP Objects > Short Texts..

Then I have the selections:

A1 Application Texts

KP Knowledge Provider

OT OTR

S1 Partial Delivery 1

S2 Partial Delivery 2

S3 ABAP Texts

S4 Repository Texts

S5 Other Interface Texts

S6 Technical Short Texts

S7 Local Object Types

S8 HR Texts

All of which expand to lower levels.

Any ideas?

OK I found it under S1 Partial Delivery 1 > SHI3 Hierarchy Node Texts. But still its is not translated.

Hello Austin,

seems that this menu structure inside the translation-tool gets more cryptic with every release. The path i described was from a Rel.4.7 system.
